Many thanks for agreeing to this presentation. There is likely to be a lot of interest from our staff so is there a maximum number of delegates for this presentation? I know some presenters feel that any
number (delegates) over 15-20 makes the presentation difficult for them.
Please let me know if we should have a maximum number who can attend.

Thank you so much for the trip on Saturday.
My daughter was so happy, she had so much fun, she also could not believe she got a laptop honestly.
She enjoyed herself.

Dear Dr Makoni, your work and credits very impressive. Here’s my work www.zedgeneration.uk.
Education, skills, diversity and equality are imbedded in all I strive to do. Giving young women
opportunities in male dominated industries such as engineering, construction architecture can open
doors to leading positioning in local and national government. I’ve been asked to join the Board of
the Windrush Housing Association. BLM for me means opening opportunities for people if colour.
We want a Windrush legacy project in Tilbury as the ship landed there 72 years ago, based on
affordable housing It could house a Rooms of our own Women's creative hub. My friend architect
Wendy Davis is another inspirational woman like you. Let me know if you have any interest in this
and Ill connect. Thanks, Rani Moor croft.

Dear Girls Empowerment Initiative,
I hope this finds you well. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support and assistance I received from the organisation during one of the most challenging periods in my life.
I was referred to you at a time I was at my lowest. I was in an abusive relationship, facing body shaming, lack of support and sexual abuse from my boyfriend. My blood pressure was constantly high and I was under 24hr monitoring by my GP. I vividly remember my first appointment with my GEI case worker arriving with my bp machine on my left arm. During that session, I broke down while sharing my story to her, feeling utterly alone and abandoned by my family who had turned their backs on me in support of my perpetrator. At that time all I wanted was to move out of that house where I was enduring so much pain and suffering. This man had driven me into debt as I tried to support him leaving me with no financial stability.
GEI’s support was a beacon of hope. She assisted me in filling my homeless application and walked with me throughout the entire process. Her regular check-ins and help in following up with the Thurrock Council were helpful in ensuring that I finally received the assistance I desperately needed.
Today I am delighted to share that the council has provided me with temporary accommodation while they work on securing permanent accommodation for me. Since moving out I have peace of mind, my blood pressure is now normal and I am back to my cheerful self.
Words cannot fully express how grateful I am to your organization for the unwavering support and dedication. Your commitment to helping women like me is truly appreciated and has made a significant difference in my life. Thank you for being there for me when I had nowhere to turn. Your support has given me a new lease to life.
With heartfelt gratitude
